Three new cases for David James

David James has been involved in three cases which have gained significant media coverage recently.

David James defended Police Officer James Riley who was charged with attempted murder. The former officer was sentenced to 16 years in prison after admitting an attack on his partner. The case received national news coverage including on the BBC, ITV, Sky News and also in the Manchester Evening News.

He also defended Michael Canning who was sentenced to life imprisonment with a 20 years minimum term for an attempted murder following an unprovoked attack upon a young man walking home from work. This case was covered on the BBC and ITV as well as the Manchester Evening News.

In the third case, David James prosecuted Adeel Safdar for causing death by dangerous driving having collided with a pedestrian having driven at nearly 100mph on a suburban road. This case received coverage on the BBC, the Daily Mail and the Manchester Evening News.
