R v Habibur Masum

Ian Goldsack, led by Stephen Wood KC, prosecuted Habibur Masum who murdered his estranged wife in front of their infant son. The 27-year-old was sentenced to life with a minimum term of 28 years at Bradford Crown Court.

The defendant pleaded guilty to manslaughter and possession of a bladed article but was convicted of murder in June. He was also convicted of one count of assault, one count of making threats to kill, and a third count of stalking.
