Naomh completed pupillage in 2020 at a Midlands set and joined Chambers in 2023. Naomh is a family barrister and her practice encompasses all aspects of family finance. She is developing a specialist finance practice, including Schedule 1 cases.
Naomh has a particular interest in efficient case management as a former fee earner, and can advise on offers and undertake drafting.
Naomh read Law at Queen’s University Belfast in Northern Ireland. She received the NTU Dean’s Professional Courses Scholarship for Academic Excellence in order to undertake the Bar Professional Training Course.
Prior to the Bar, Naomh was employed as an in-house advocate at Browne Jacobson LLP. Among other advocacy instructions, Naomh was a contracted Presenting Officer for the Department for Education in professional misconduct proceedings, acting in cases involving maladministration of school funds and exam malpractice.
Family finance
Naomh has acted in a range of Matrimonial Causes cases including those involving interveners and non-biological children.
Naomh has completed the FLBA’s Advocacy and the Vulnerable course and has extensive experience in cases involving vulnerable witnesses, domestic abuse, and section 25 conduct issues. She has worked with clients with a range of access needs, including individuals on the autism spectrum and individuals receiving palliative care. Naomh has also worked with clients requiring special measures and has experience managing high conflict personalities. She is comfortable to work on challenging and sensitive cases involving capacity issues.
Naomh has appeared in various satellite proceedings such as committal applications and section 37 freezing applications. She has acted in applications to vary or discharge final orders including regarding the conduct of sale of the family home.
Naomh has acted cases with lower asset bases, and is comfortable in advising on the impact of financial proceedings on State benefits.
Naomh routinely receives instructions in relation to Family Law Act proceedings, and is able to advise on how this may impact financial proceedings.

Naomh is developing a practice on behalf of appellants and respondents to appeals to the Social Security and Child Support Tribunal in relation to CSA/CMS assessments.

Naomh has experience in a wide range of private law proceedings acting for both parents and extended family members.
Owing to her experience acting for the DfE, Naomh has a particular interest in educational and schooling disputes.
Naomh has also acted for 16.4 Guardians and is available to advise on when such appointments are appropriate.
Naomh welcomes instructions in international child abduction matters, including to and from non-Hague convention countries.
