Chloé is completing a criminal pupillage under the supervision of Ian Goldsack.
Prior to pupillage, Chloé worked as a specialist Landlord and Tenant litigation paralegal at a national law firm. Her work included residential and commercial possession claims, complex boundary disputes, agricultural leases and large-scale commercial property litigation. Alongside her fee-earning work, Chloé delivered training to insurers and loss adjusters on developing areas of landlord and tenant law.
Chloé gained experience of criminal proceedings as an Outreach Volunteer with the Witness Service, supporting vulnerable witnesses and complainants throughout both Magistrates’ and Crown Court proceedings. Chloé also completed a Criminal Appeals Programme through which she worked on the preparation of a criminal appeal for consideration by the CCRC.
Chloé holds an LLM with Distinction in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice from the University of Birmingham. Her dissertation considered consent and deception in sexual offences, an area in which she retains a particular interest.
Outside of practice, Chloé is the co-founder and director of The Girls Club Birmingham, one of the largest women-only communities in the West Midlands. Since its launch, the Club has grown to a community of over 15,000 members and hosted more than 100 events. Chloé is also an active campaigner against violence against women and girls across the Birmingham area.
Chloé is fluent in French and English, conversational in German, and is currently learning Japanese.
