Welcome Kelsey Marron
We are delighted to welcome Kelsey Marron to Chambers.
Kelsey is a specialist family law barrister who is developing expertise in children matters, both in public and private law proceedings, and frequently receives instructions in applications brought under the Family Law Act.
Her advocacy experience includes representing parents and local authorities and she is accustomed to handling cases that involve vulnerable parties and domestic abuse. Prior to commencing pupillage, Kelsey developed her family law knowledge as a paralegal in the family team at well-known North West law firm Slater Heelis.
Chambers now has more than 90 children law specialists, including six King’s Counsel. CEO Chris Ronan commented: “We are delighted to welcome Kelsey to our team. A combination of the dedicated service provided by our clerks and administrative staff, the quality of our work and our focus on inclusion and wellbeing continues to attract exceptional barristers who enhance our reputation. Kelsey is the latest in a number of exciting junior barristers who have recently been attracted to St John’s Buildings and we hope to continue that trend across all of our areas of expertise.”
