Three barristers join SJB

June 8, 2015

We’re delighted to welcome three experienced barristers to Chambers, each of whom has a wealth of expertise in their particular field.

Diarmuid Bunting specialises in employment, professional disciplinary and contractual disputes. Prior to taking pupillage he gained six years’ experience as a solicitor working in the same areas.

Fayaz Hammond’s practice covers personal injury and immigration. Following his appointment to the Treasury Solicitors’ Regional Panel, he has developed a growing practice in administrative law.

Samantha Openshaw practices in all areas of personal injury law and employment law and is a qualified mediator.

The three join at an exciting time for St John’s Buildings, confirming our intentions to grow through the addition of exceptional advocates in all of our core areas of work. CEO Chris Ronan commented: “Diarmuid, Fayaz and Samantha all have impressive practices, so we are delighted they have chosen to join SJB. We are continuing to attract expert barristers from all practice areas as our reputation for exceptional advocacy and service excellence grows nationwide.”
