Success for Head Chef Claimant in Stress at Work Claim
Timothy Connolly, acting for a Head Chef of an Italian Restaurant, was successful in proving Breach of Duty and Causation of serious psychological injury. The Defendant was a Limited Company which employed the Claimant. Over a considerable period of time the workload and pressure placed on the Claimant by the Defendant increased, despite complaint, to the point where the Claimant suffered a catatonic episode whilst at work which led to longer term psychological suffering.
