Lorraine Cavanagh KC acted on behalf of the Association of Lawyers for Children along with Deirdre Fottrell KC, Siobhan F. Kelly and Sharon Segal from 1GC in an appeal by a child against a return order.

This case raised the issue of the role of the solicitor who was also acting as the child’s guardian in 1980 Child Abduction Convention proceedings.
