R v Luka Corbishley

Oliver King defended Luka Corbishley who pleaded guilty to possession of £2,000 worth MDMA and ecstasy with intent to supply.
Corbishley had attempted to smuggle the drugs into Creamfields Festival in 2024 but was stopped after being positively indicated for having drugs in his possession by a drug dog.
The teenager had faced up to seven years in prison under sentencing guidelines. He was sentenced to two years in prison suspended for 24 months. He was also handed a 9pm to 6am curfew for a year and was told to complete 300 hours of unpaid work and 15 days of rehabilitation activity.
