R v Bedford

Craig Lowe prosecuted a man from Cleethorpes who admitted sexual offences against a girl under the age of two. Callum Bedford was jailed for 14 years at Grimsby Crown Court.

He was identified after Canadian authorities spotted indecent images he posted on social media and contacted the UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA).

Bedford pleaded guilty to charges including distributing indecent photographs of a child, attempted rape of a girl under the age of two and being in possession of extreme pornographic material.

He will be put on the sex offender’s register for life and was handed an indefinite sexual harm prevention order.
