R v Asad Hussain

Jemma Gordon leading Blaise Morris prosecuted Asad Hussain who was found guilty of stalking causing serious alarm and distress, assault by beating and failing to comply with a Regulation of Investigatory Powers notice.
Asad Hussain was found to have communicated with the victim using a false name and mobile number, before stalking her by creating fake Tinder profiles in her name and arranging for unknown men to attend at her home on the premise of a “rape fantasy”. The case included extensive telecoms and cell-site evidence.
Sentencing will take place in June.
