Operation Greenjacket concludes
Rebecca Penfold leading Emily Calman defended in this complex case. The case involved historic allegations of child prostitution, child sexual exploitation and possession of a firearm, with separate indictments of criminality including indecent images, false ID documents and drugs. Post-sentence the matter was before the Court of Appeal further to a reference by the Attorney General [2025] EWCA Crim 1507, and it concluded this week with further legal argument as to the Crown’s contested applications for ancillary orders.
