R v Michael Wright

August 17, 2022

Oliver King successfully defended a 27-year-old father from Connah’s Quay charged with attempted robbery while intoxicated. Oliver argued that the man “wasn’t in a good place mentally” at the time but had since “rebuilt” his life.

Following this argument, the man was “exceptionally” spared jail by the judge who instead ordered him to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work and 25 days of rehabilitation work.
