Life imprisonment for ‘depraved’ attack

April 6, 2016

Paul Eames has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the rape of two women in front of a group of young children. He must serve a minimum of 10 and a half years before he is considered for parole.

Judge Michael Murphy QC said that in his 30-year career he had rarely been so shocked by the ‘depths of depravity and sheer wickedness’ involved in the attacks.

Gordon Stables prosecuted Mr Eames at Sheffield Crown Court.

Mr Stable’s prosecution arguments were quoted heavily in the Mail Online and Mirror, and the case also received coverage on BBC news.
