Jail sentence following child sex offences

Jane Dagnall prosecuted Paul Davies at Preston Crown Court. Mr Davies was given an indeterminate sentence of 20 years in prison and a further five years on an extended license.

Mr Davies admitted two counts of rape of a girl under 13, four counts of inciting a girl under 13 to engage in sexual activity and eight sexual assaults. He will be subject to an indefinite Sexual Offender Prevention Order and will be ordered to sign the Sex Offenders’ Register.
