Defamation Case Note by Adil Navaid
Adil Navaid successfully represented Travelodge Hotels Limited at a strike out application in a claim brought against the hotel chain for alleged libel and slander. Deciding on a novel point, the High Court was persuaded that intra-company communications do not fall within the scope of ‘publication’ of a defamatory statement.
