Charity Open Fishing Match
Senior Civil Clerk Chris Shaw from St John’s Buildings has organised a charity open fishing match in aid of Southport Spinal Injuries Unit. The event takes place on Saturday 14 May at Blundells Fishery, Warrington from 11am – 4pm.
The match will raise over £500 which will be used to provide adapted fishing tackle and opportunities for patients to enjoy angling throughout 2016 and beyond.
Chris commented “The Southport Spinal Injuries Unit does an amazing job, and events like this raise money to improve patients’ rehabilitation and show them there are still many sports and hobbies they can enjoy in life. Through this event we will provide others with the opportunity to enjoy fishing, possibly for the first time.”
