Samuel is undertaking a Criminal pupillage under the supervision of Dafydd Roberts.
During his first six, Samuel has shadowed his supervisor and other members on a wide variety of cases heard in the Magistrates Court, Crown Court and also the Court of Appeal.
Samuel has developed a strong foundation and knowledge of how to conduct his own cases during second six.
Samuel welcomes instructions on matters listed before the Magistrates Court and also matters of an appropriate level in the Crown Court.
Magistrates Court
Samuel has observed both Prosecution and Defence matters in the Magistrates Court. He has shadowed a variety of cases including those involving offences of assault, possession of drugs, possession of bladed articles and public order offences.
Crown Court & appeals
Samuel has shadowed a range of Crown Court hearings, including mentions, appeals, PTPHs and sentence hearings involving drugs offences, assaults and other offences against the person.
During his second six, Samuel has conducted bail applications, probation breaches, mention hearings and commitals for sentence.
