Phoebe is completing a family law pupillage under the supervision of Kerry Holt, developing a broad practice across all areas of family law. She has a particular interest in cases involving children, vulnerable parties and issues requiring careful consideration of the welfare and individual circumstances of those involved. Phoebe approaches family work with a calm, conscientious and sensitive manner, recognising the significant personal and emotional pressures that often accompany family proceedings.
Alongside her family practice, Phoebe has developed a strong foundation in areas of law relevant to family work, including discrimination, through her work as a paralegal. She graduated from the University of Chester with a First Class LLB and subsequently completed the Bar Practice Course at The University of Law, Liverpool, with High Distinction. Her academic background includes particularly strong results in Social Justice, Medical Law, Advanced Criminal Law and Discrimination Law. She also has experience working with vulnerable clients through the University of Chester Law Clinic, where she assisted with asylum and immigration matters and maintained case records with particular sensitivity to confidentiality and vulnerability.
