Lisa read Law at University and was called to the Bar by The Inner Temple in 1989. She practises in all areas of Family Law.

Lisa is authorised by the Bar Council to undertake work under the Public Access Rules. She would be pleased to accept instructions to have a conference at chambers or to appear in Court, directly from members of the public who are not eligible for public funding and who otherwise would be representing themselves. This is in the areas of divorce, contact/ residence of children, moving children to live abroad, changing their surname/ religion/ school, financial provision on divorce and also in care proceedings for people intervening such as grandparents or those who have had an allegation against them that they have injured a child.

 

Children (Public and Private law)

Lisa practises in all areas of family law including Care proceedings, Adoption, Contact, Residence, Domestic Violence Injunctions and Committals, all aspects of Ancillary Relief, removal of children from the jurisdiction of the UK and Public Interest Immunity.

Family finance

Lisa is accustomed to representing parties in matrimonial finance/ancillary relief matters and is able to sensitively support clients through the difficult process of divorce.
