Amanda is an expert Children Law practitioner.
Born and raised in Birkenhead, Amanda initially qualified as a solicitor before transferring to the Bar in 1995.
Amanda has built a thriving law practice, combining her career with raising two sons.
Amanda is known for her organised, thorough approach and her commitment to guiding clients through the complexities of family law with clarity, sensitivity and common sense.

Amanda has over 30 years’ experience representing parents and Children’s Guardians in cases involving serious non-accidental injuries, sexual abuse, chronic neglect / drug and alcohol dependency, and serious mental health issues.
Amanda is regularly instructed to represent vulnerable parents at all levels of tribunal and she accepts instructions on behalf of the Official Solicitor.
Geographically she accepts instructions from solictors across Merseyside, Cheshire, Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire and North Wales.
Amanda is thorough in her preparation, demonstrates empathy to vulnerable clients, and goes above and beyond to ensure that their voices are heard in court. She is a strong and sensitive advocate.
Private Law
Amanda has extensive experience in dealing with complex private law cases and applications for injunctive relief. She accepts direct access instructions.
