R v Rhys Herbert (Aka “Digga D”): Prosecuted music artist “Digga D” leading to his 3- year and 11-month imprisonment for the importation and sale of significant quantities of Cannabis. Reported by The Independent, The Irish News, and the BBC.

R v Charlotte Winstanley and Jabhari Blair: Prosecuted a Prison Officer at HMP Lindholme for Misconduct in Public Office when she engaged in a sexual relationship with an inmate and went on to smuggle items into prison for him. This matter received significant Press coverage including the BBC, Sky News and The Mirror.

R v Jared Lamb: Prosecuted an ex-Police Officer who had planned to meet and sexually abuse a five-year-old girl. Reported in the BBC and The Star.

R v David King: Prosecuted the rape and sexual assaults committed against three separate victims, namely the Defendant’s partner, daughter and a third-party child complainant. Reported in the BBC.

R v RH: Prosecuted a serial sex offender who had sexually abused multiple child victims and an adult victim in a spree of offending involving luring his victims with the use of his toy shop and a decommissioned Fire Engine he had fitted with disco lights.

R v AV and AS: Prosecuted a multi-handed aggravated burglary in which weapons including chains and machetes were used to break into a house and steal a pedigree dog.

R v Ryan Lee: Prosecuted a Police Officer for Dangerous Driving when he drove a marked Police vehicle at over 100mph with blue lights and sirens activated for no apparent reason. Reported by the BBC and Yahoo News.

R v Lynette Alptekin: Prosecuted an accountant who committed fraud of over £360,000 against her employer. Reported by Sky News, the Mirror, the Daily Express and the Birmingham Mail.

R v CW: Prosecuted a nurse who stole a significant quantity of prescription medication, including controlled drugs during her employment with the National Health Service.

R v Donna Brassington: Prosecuted a case of fraud whereby over £20,000 was stolen from a vulnerable elderly victim. Reported in the Star.

Defence

R v PW: Led by David Lamb KC defending a man accused of torture and murder reported in the BBC.

R v JC: Defended a man accused of repeatedly raping his partner and of raping his step-daughter securing unanimous jury acquittals.

R v PH: Defended a man accused of multiple historic counts of sexual activity with a child family member, namely his own biological daughter, securing unanimous jury acquittals.

R v DH: Defended an individual charged with controlling and coercive behaviour and serious violent offences, securing unanimous jury acquittals.

R v MG: Defended a prisoner accused grievous bodily harm with intent for stabbing two Prison Officers at Wakefield Prison.

R v TM: Defended an individual accused of being a significant member of a conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

R v CS: Defended a man charged with causing death by dangerous driving whilst working as a lorry driver and successfully obtaining a suspended sentence. Reported in the Eastern Daily Press. 

R v AE-A: Defended a man charged with the theft of a sheep and subsequent possession of extreme pornography which led to interest from the National Press including the BBC.
