Andrew O’Byrne KC defends youth charged with Murder
Andrew O’Byrne KC defended a 17-year-old who was found not guilty of murder, manslaughter and a section 20 on another person. The boy, who cannot be named, was charged with murder following the death of a 14-year-old boy in Newcastle.
Gordon Gault died in hospital after he was wounded in a machete attack in November 2022.
Two men were found guilty and will be sentenced on 8th March.
