15 Year Sentence for ‘Wicked Offences’ Against a Child
A 43-year-old man who repeatedly abused a child was convicted by a jury at Mold Crown Court.
Daniel Mark Wilson received a 15-year sentence and was ordered to register with the police as a sex offender for life.
Wilson denied five charges of raping a child under the age of 13. Police found 1580 indecent images on his computer but Wilson denied any knowledge of them and suggested that others had been responsible or that the computer had been hacked. But the prosecution said that during the police investigation it emerged that he had been dismissed from a previous job for allegedly viewing child pornography on a computer at work.
