Ray Herman
We have learned of the very sad news that Ray Herman passed away peacefully at home on Sunday 5th September.
Ray was Head of Chambers of India Buildings at the point St John’s Buildings and India Buildings merged and he joined the Management Committee of Chambers on merger, staying involved in chambers management matters for several months. He cared passionately about the success of Chambers and worked hard to assist in delivering that success. Ray was a kind and caring man, giving countless hours to help colleagues and friends. He negotiated hard in the build up to the merger to ensure his colleagues from India Buildings were able to remain together and thrive and he was immensely popular, both in Liverpool and beyond, as a result. Respected by his peers and with integrity that was beyond reproach, Ray will be dearly missed by all in Chambers.
