Joseph O’Brien KC successfully argues that man has capacity to make decision on care arrangements

In an important first instance decision of Judd J, Joseph O’Brien KC successfully argued that a young man with a history of sex offending had capacity to make decisions in relation to his care and support arrangements and that DY should no longer be deprived of his liberty.  Joseph O’Brien KC was instructed by Rebecca Chapman of Irwin Mitchell, on behalf of DY’s litigation friend the Official Solicitor.
