Jennifer Scully sworn in
Jennifer Scully has officially been sworn in as a circuit judge at a ceremony at the Royal Courts of Justice, London.
On Monday 11 March she was sworn in by Lord Justice Peter Jackson.
Jennifer is serving on the North Eastern Circuit, based at Newcastle Combined Court and will be known as Her Honour Judge Scully.
She began sitting on Tuesday 12 March and will work on family law cases.
Jennifer originally qualified as a solicitor before being called to the bar and joining St John’s Buildings in 2006. She practised in the area of family law and was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2015.
