Chris was called to the bar in 2006 having achieved an “outstanding” grade on the Bar Vocational Course. He practises exclusively in civil law and costs.

Chris is a personal injury specialist. He has a particular interest in employers’ liability matters although he also routinely represents both Claimants and Defendants in public and occupiers’ liability claims and all aspects of road traffic litigation to include, fraud, credit hire and LVI matters.
Chris undertakes a wide range of other civil work including housing matters (to include private and public landlord/tenant possession claims and mortgage possession cases), boundary and building disputes, commercial cases and TLATA claims.
Having previously worked as a Costs Draftsman both externally and within the in-house costs team of a national law firm, Chris is able to advise on costs matters, draft bills of costs, prepare points of dispute and represent parties at detailed assessment/review hearings.
