Alex was called to the Bar by The Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn in 1993. He specialises in applications for financial remedy upon divorce having been committed to family law throughout his career.

Alex represents clients of high net worth. The cases that he undertakes often involve complex issues surrounding company shareholdings and valuations, inherited wealth, trust issues and pre nuptial agreements.
Alex is regularly instructed in High Court cases where the assets exceed £5 million. He has an approachable style which establishes a good rapport with clients.
Alex also undertakes Schedule 1 Children Act and TLATA cohabitation disputes.

A v A [2014]: Four-day High Court divorce case involving assets totalling over £5.5 million including properties located throughout the Gulf States.
P v M [2013]: High Court Schedule 1 Application. The father of the child was a property developer with assets exceeding £25 million.
Re S-B (Children) [2010] 1FLR 1161: Alex appeared as Junior Counsel for the child in the Supreme Court. This was his last children’s case before specialising exclusively in divorce.
Chief Constable of Greater Manchester v KI and KW (By their Children’s Guardian, CAFCASS LEGAL) and NP [2007] EWHC 1837 (Fam) [2008] 1 FLR 504: Application by the police to interview a child witness whose sister had been shot dead by her brother.
