Stephen Brown completes 615-mile Monarch’s Way Ultra Race

June 6, 2018

Stephen Brown has set a new record as the first ever UK man to complete the Monarch’s Way ultra race.

At 615 miles, the Monarch’s Way is the longest non-stop race in Britain. Starting on 19 May, Stephen was up against 11 other runners, he completed the challenge in 13 days and 10 hours and was just one of three to make it to the end.

Stephen said that “The furthest anyone had got to date was 400 odd miles and all 11 of us this year had our eye on trying to be the first to finish it.”

A well-deserved congratulations from everyone here at SJB.
