Simon Parry appointed to FA Judicial Panel

March 6, 2018

We are delighted to announce that the Football Association has appointed Simon Parry to join its Judicial Panel as an Independent Legal Member.

Simon first qualified as a football referee in 1994. Following a number of years out of the game he requalified in 2013 and has been an active referee for Cheshire FA ever since. Refereeing and Simon’s legal background led to him becoming involved sitting in football regulatory matters at county level for Shropshire FA in 2015. He became a qualified chairman of their disciplinary commissions last year.

Simon’s new role in the national FA will see him sitting on regulatory commissions and appeal boards in a variety of cases involving the professional game, to which he is “looking forward immensely”.
